The first of November in France is the day people attend to graves.
Today was a holiday so I stayed home to work. In the afternoon we went for a walk and passed the cemetery (not hard when you live on church street). The number of flowers was simply amazing. Every grave had a least two pots of flowers and some were simply covered. In the brilliant, if a little cold, sunshine, it was so beautiful.
